This thread is dedicated to the greatest time waster ever invented. Yes, this thing caused many sunny days of the childhoods of people close to my age to be wasted inside. It made us put off reading a five-hundred page book until the night before the damn book report on the thing was due. Some of us even had the thing blamed for why the TV wouldn't work right anymore.

The Nintendo Entertainment System. To this day, I still argue that this thing was responsible for more fun and great games than any other system that followed it. A direction pad and two buttons. That's all that should be needed to play a great game.

Keep your Playstation 3s and X-box 360s. I'll take the old-school Nintendo over them anyday.
