Get a few sensible shirts and pairs of pants from a place like Banana Republic and rotate them. Stick with neutral colours. I've had my best luck with blazers from vintage/second-hand stores because of my shape. At a cheap price, you can pay a tailor to adjust them to your needs. I got a beautiful Canali blazer for 100 bucks and had it fitted for another 40. I wear it with everything...
I have the "Come to Abu Graib", "Community College is Easier Than Regular College", "Shittles Taste The Asshole", and "Anabolic" t-shirts.

I should probably design my own watches. My watches would look good and be reasonably priced, and aimed at men who like hot women. And if a gay person will buy the watch, then when he will put it on the watch will have just enough explosive in it to rip away the wrist from the rest of the arm.
So how will you plan to wear one of these "Panzer" watches on your dates with Tom Ford?
We will send the Broccoli from men in pain, I bet that he wouldnt mind.

What's with the Fossil obsession, Alex? If you want to stay in that price range, try a Diesel. It's a much hipper brand, and they tend to look more expensive than they are.

Fossil makes Diesel watches under license. And fuck these European brands. We should support American companies and not buy that eurotrash.

You're hopeless, Alex. Nevertheless, I'm still pulling for you to lose your virginity before you die. Good luck.

Seiko Titanium Kinetic.
More than $80; less than $1,000.
A lifetime of perfect timekeeping without batteries.

Seiko does make great stuff. I've got three of them, not cheap, they range from $150 up to a grand but they look great and run forever. About 25 yrs ago I bought a Seiko for $100 and it still runs beautifully, crystal never scratched and the thing is so efficient the batteries last 10 years.
They can go head to head with any Swiss made out there.

go like a mile and buy a used tag at tourneau, they're really not much more money than buying a new trashy one-look for the formula one with the rubber strap. the fossil shit might be worth 10 dollars at a yardsale down the road and you could have had a real watch for a few hundred bucks
i'm pretty sure my omega seamaster will outlast me-it's just a fucking monument of overengineering. plus, mine's orange and i actually get it wet all the time and it doesn't let moisture in like aquatimers and better-recognized 'dive' watches through the bezel if the screw's not absolutely perfectly set in.
for dressier-shit i broke down and bought a jaeger reverso because it's the best add-toy to play with and watch during tedious conference calls where there's an outside chance the internet could be too distracting and make me look like an idiot if one of the other idiots droning on decides to ask me something and i'm unreponsive.

There is no such thing as a real watch. Whatever sells for over $50 will show time fo at least 10 years.
yes, but it'll look classless for each of those years. fossil's probably not in business in a decade, i can't help you if you're intent on buying shit destined for a church rummage sale.
What class? I just want a good-looking watch that works.

My Fossils go from wrist to trash can. Before Fossil there were Seikos and before those Pulsars (Which were not cheap watches back in the day).
It would be a shame to subject a Tag or Breitling to what my watches go through. A waste of resources. And, I haven't had a water resistant watch fog on my in almost 20 yrs. regardless of cost or stem setting.
Treating ADD through complicated timepieces is an interesting concept though- someone should write a thesis on that. Years ago, when some people wore digital watches, I'd see guys racing to see how quickly they could start and stop the timers. Some times were in the hundredths of a second. I've never owned nor worn a digital watch but I do have a digital "tide watch" I keep in the boat slipped over a toggle switch on the console.

seriously, the standard tag with the rubber strap looks good and you'd have a real challenge destroying it. they should be under 500, it's sometimes worth it to acquire something that's crafted noticably-better even if it's at a small premium. same deal as choosing to buy a kimber instead of a taurus-over time it just makes you happier even if it's a bit of a luxury. I see your point, and I understand it. It just isn't practical for me. I will spend money for quality where I can appreciate the differences, for the very reasons you mention. I'll spend up on sunglasses, electronics, tools, tackle, guns and hard use shoes and clothing. I noticed once I started buying better sunglasses I stopped losing and abusing them so maybe the same would be true of a watch but I'm loath to experiment. Imagine how much more fun it is to drop 500 bucks here.

Why should a watch make someone happy? Good looking quality watch that works is all that someone needs.

Gia would look great in that pink sweater, sure beats her turtleneck. And those black glasses would look great on her too, people might think that it is a somekind of limited edition designer frames.
