Alas, the above comment represents the "swing vote" in America.

For the next six months, idiots such as this, will be manipulated by millions of dollars of propaganda (both obvious and subtle) to vote one way or another. I recommended not watching Fox News!

The other 20% of the populace, well-read, and open-minded will observe their votes be drowned out by the hoi polloi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hoi_polloi) and become even more cynical.

Personally, I'm voting Democrat based upon the performance of out country from 2001-2006 which featured Republican domination of all three branches of government. These lazy rich assholes fucked up at every opportunity (9/11, Iraq occupation, Katrina, cronysim, Justice Department, free speech zones, increasing the national debt from $5 trillion to $9 trillion, etc.)

McCain, as facile as he is with the press, thinks the Bush "tax cuts" were a good idea and that our overly-extended military will somehow prevent terrorism by physically being "over there" as opposed to being home and seeing to our domestic security.

Obama foresees a removal of our occupation forces from the Middle East because their presence serves as a catalyst for the “terrorists” who see the cause of their hopeless living situation as America (“Great Satan”) and Israel (“Little Satan”). Perhaps, removing 100,000 American troops from their lands could be perceived as offering them self-governance. Of course, this is a very simplistic way of seeing things, but in the Middle East, all they have is their own equivalent of Fox News (even less "fair and balanced"), and their equivalent of Fox News has Blackwater mercenaries killing people around the clock.

America needs to press the “RESET” button and vote out the knuckle-dragging Republicans!
