The danger of a place has not been too big of a factor until recently. I worried more in South Africa it has a lot of violent crime. Saudi has all that crap going down but that is on the other side of the country (Riyadh) from where I was in Jeddah. There are no tourists allowed in Saudi though only business and pilgrim visas. Since I am working when I travel I am taking more money out than I am putting in. I travel in spurts maybe twice a year. I am usually gone anywhere from a week to a couple months at a time.
