As of 2008 many blacks have become their own most enemies.

Slavery is over [blacks still buy/sell blacks in the Sudan, but US blacks don't seem to care, so ...]. Jim Crow is over. Four decades of Affirmative Action and still running.

They should give up the rap, the expensive sneakers, the ebonics, put their emphasis on math & science education and assimilate because their invented "culture" just isn't working for them. And, training to be musicians and athletes only works for the very very very top performers.
