Be careful with secret recording.
Recording your own conversations is legal in NY, but, unless the other person knows and consents to the taping, it is not legal in NJ and most other states.
Recording others' conversations without their permission is not legal anywhere I know of.
In the Panzer's Penal Code book there is no such thing as this.
Attorney General Cuomo and District Attorney Morganthau would love to put the PPC before a jury.
