I believe, and I said it before, the industry needs to take charge of it's own self-regulation and establish mechanisms that will purge it of the hucksters and con artists that lie their way through each day as agents and such. There's no reason for the industry to be dragged down by people who have nothing to offer the industry but trouble. I've met some very professional people who know their role and do their job well, and who know how to manage a model or performer for success. Having known at least one -pseudo-agent' who migrated to Florida to help drag it down as he has done, it's no surprise to me the industry there has suffered.
