When I wrote, "Fight the power," I meant that there are larger, more serious issues for us to deal with. I clarified my stand in support of Christian by adding something else, too, but no one is interested in that. I stared tyranny straight in the face and stood up for the dude. It's what any brave, noble, heroic person would do.

BI explained the context more than once. Not everything has to meet with your/my/others approval/understanding.

Personally I think it was a mistake to participate in Donkey's "petition" on any level. BI seems to have tried to steer a middle ground - which has its own problems and dangers.

The choice satisfies few if any, and each party is left to interpret your action as "half-empty/half-full". In this case, I think any impartial observer would see BI's signing as an anti-CXXX without context, especially since Donkey saw it as support of his position. And, I have no doubt that the porn whores who signed afterwards saw BI's name as an endorsement to sign.

But, I'm willing to accept BI's explanation.

I explained to Donny that I felt Christian is free to do whatever the fuck he pleases. I explained the same directly to Christian on the phone and by e-mail.

Some people just like to stir the pot and want their problems to become everyone else's. It's not realistic and people have their own bullshit to deal with. Donny and Christian should deal with their differences on their own.

Christian decided to work with the people he worked with and women should have the same right to choose to work with him or not. It's no one else's business and no explanation should be required. Move on.

Personally I don't think its that big a deal if someone doesn't want to work with you ( or maybe i'm just used to it through so many rejections growing up! ). Apparently in porn there's so many people who flake anyway that I really don't think directors would have much of an issue with it either. If someone said no I think i'd just accept it. I think if you make an issue of it you can be kind of bullying sometimes. You make the girl feel bad and make it harder for them to change their mind about you in the future because suddenly it becomes this big deal to everybody and the girl can feel alienated not just from you but all your friends as well. Suddenly she feels like an outcast. It may have not even been a big deal to her anyway - maybe she just wasn't sure of you, but suddenly it becomes like a huge embarrassing issue. Then in situations like this if you do change your mind you feel like people will laugh and point and you might lose respect, not because you mind working with him but just to be seen as having been of a certain opinion and then suddenly going against it. Some people are of really open personalities and may have no problems but for more private sensitive people it can be hard
