Seems Vito blew a red light with a BAC twice the legal limit.
Also, who's the mystery woman who bailed him out?

Vito Fossella's mystery woman: Va. lady who sprung him from jail lives nearby
The woman who rescued a boozy Rep. Vito Fossella from a Virginia drunk tank lives just 3 miles from the spot where he was busted for drunken driving.
The connection between Laura Fay, who resides in Arlington, Va., and the veteran congressman remained unclear Saturday as Fossella spent a quiet day with no public appearances.
Asked about Fay, the Staten Island Republican's spokesman, Craig Donner, said he was unsure how Fossella and Fay knew one another.
"I have not spoken to him about it," Donner said Saturday. "I don't know."
Court documents show Fossella was released into the custody of Fay at 7:39 a.m. Thursday, about seven hours after his arrest for running a red light in Alexandria. Police say Fossella's blood alcohol level was 0.17 - more than double the legal limit.
Fay's home is about 3 miles from the Seminary Road location where the 43-year-old congressman was pulled over. He reportedly stumbled and struggled with the alphabet during roadside sobriety tests in the Washington suburb.
He also reportedly lied to the arresting officer, saying he was heading to pick up his daughter, 4-year-old Rowan, who was sick and needed hospitalization.
Fossella, who could face five days in jail, apologized Friday at a Staten Island news conference. At the conference, he didn't repeat the claim that his daughter was sick. He, instead, said he was heading "to visit some friends in Virginia" when he was stopped.
Donner said he couldn't explain the discrepancy between the story Fossella reportedly told the cop and the one he gave at the press conference because he had not seen the arrest report.
A blond woman exiting the garage at Fay's home declined to identify herself or answer questions about Fossella, the lone Republican in New York City's congressional delegation.
"I really have to go," she said, before driving away.
Property records appear to indicate that Fay has connections to the Air Force.
Air Force officials confirmed that there is a Col. Laura Fay on active duty at the Pentagon, although it was unclear if she was the same person who helped Fossella.
Fossella, who faces a re-election challenge this November, was accompanied by his wife, Mary Pat, at his mea culpa news conference. The couple has three children.
The former City Council member was elected to Congress in a special 1997 election. He's been re-elected five times.
