Mostly chinese people in eating in there. The food is GREAT and it's fairly inexpensive.

I remember going to some Vietnamese down by Mott while on Jury duty. Good stuff. Tried a few of the Chinese places, the ones with no tourists and only Chinese staff and customers. Got to watch out what you order lest it be bull testicles or such (menus in Chinese only and the waiters may not be interested in explaining the dishes).
I remember going to a dim sum place there, either next to or across an NYPD precinct. Damn good stuff. Those little shrimp potboilers were awesome.

Damn, I miss NYC.
