You're a lucky man with such friends. A Jaguar is a treat.

I changed the fuel pump and filter, and bought a windshield wiper and various fluids. Counting the tow home, I have about 200 bucks in it now and it runs and rides like a Jaguar should. It still needs a proper detailing and I need to check some gnat-bites like trunk and hood lights not working corrected so my revised estimate to road worthy and looking good is about $350.00. It will probably need new tires as the set could be dry-rotted and that will affect my estimate. Not bad for a 22y/o car.

MAJOR SCORE, good for you, and safe driving...dont get crazy now and think you are on the Autobahn.....good luck w/it. Seriously!
