Here is what I have purchased today:
I was already running over 90 minutes late to the college class, so I decided to stop by the Union Square farmers market and I bought there 1 cup of apple cider for $1.00. After the college I walked around and then headed to Chinatown from 48th street on the feet. In the Chinatown I went to the 5-item buffet, the one that costs $4.25 and I chose Lo Mein noodles, General Tso's Chicken, Kung Pow Chicken and a slice of Watermellon. There was another buffet that was closer and less walking, 5-items for $4.50. Does the $0.25 worth walking farther? Hell yeah, if they serve watermellon and for $0.25 less! After my buffet meal, I went to the favorite local grocery and bought Chinese Ice Tea and 1 Froz Fruit Strawberry, both for $1.00 each. As I walked around I found this street cart Chinese guy who was making and selling these Mini Cakes, 20 for $1.00, so I waited in the line and bought 40 for $2.00 and ate them all. As I was finishing eating the mini cakes, I was already in the Little Italy are, the ones with the fancy restaurants that the doormen try to lure you in. They were selling the Gellato Ice Cream but the prices were too high, these Italians are always try to screw your wallet. And after the gym I bought myself a 24oz Mutant Berry Slurpee at 7-Eleven for $1.29, it is like a poor man's energy shake.
