That's a .22? I guess they use that caliber to keep costs down.

I'm not much into cowboy action shooting- if you can have a spring-fed, gas-activated semi-automatic why would you want to palm a hammer to fire a shot?

Yep that's the exact pistol and they make it in larger calibers up to I believe a .45 long colt. I just wanted it to plink with. .22 lr is cheap to shoot and fun. Large caliber rifle ammo is more expensive. Remember playing cowboys and indians and army when you were a kid ? Or am I just a neanderthal ? No wait that would involve clubs and knives.
By the way, Heritage guns are made in the good ole USA and are relatively inexpensive. I got mine after someone didn't pick up a layaway for 153 bucks. That's a steal. My AR-15 on the other hand was bought for 859 dollars and is now worth well over a thousand. I also have an AK-47 I bought for 449 and the same gun is now worth at least a hundred more in just six months. I have a growing collection of shotguns, rifles and pistols. I carry a Bersa .380 cc [concealed carry] every day. Yes, I have a permit.
