I have never used that flash, so I have no idea. I had an older Canon model when I was in college and it was a pain in the ass--it was too much for me at the time I guess. But I was obviously shooting film in those days, mostly B&W, it was hard to get stuff the way I wanted it. Lots of experimenting got expensive.


I also got 550EX but it is too big and heavy especially for the camera lik G10. I also want to try out the G10 with the ST-E2 and 550EX remote setup. I think that if I will set the 550EX on a stand with a silver umbrella reflector and I think that this would make a nice portrait setup.
