I had Japanese friend who tried the opposite - taking US porn to Japan. Customs took the VHS tape after asking him what it was (he said it was a wedding or such) and ran it on their machine. They fined him the equivalent of $500 but were kind enough to ask if he wanted to give a different address than the one on his license in case he did not want the Mrs to intercept the embarrassing paperwork when he received it over the email. Yet, they produce the dirtiest shit flicks this side of Deutschland.
