absolutely. a complete and total fabrication as far as i'm concerned. something's totally rotten in denmark with all of this but i can't even begin to venture where the stench is coming from. if there is a tape, why wasn't there any mention of some high profile bidder looking to purchase it? i heard nary a word on someone as obvious as larry flynt or hugh hefner attempting to acquire it. you'd think at least flynt's name would have been dropped as an extremely interested party when the story broke. adding to the bullshit factor is the ancient format this "tape" was most likely shot on. eons before the donny longs of the world could saunter into wal-mart and pick up any variety of motion image recording devices, the days of marilyn were that of celluloid which wasn't even remotely point and shoot friendly. extra lighting, 2 minute rolls of film stock per reel, probably another guy or two to run camera and assist, not to mention having to store the film in a temperature controlled room (which in all probability it wasn't) so it could be playable years down the road seems like a little too much work for this story to be true. the whole thing stinks. stinks, i tell ya.
