For my money it's gotta be the Hungarians. They're all like 7 feet tall, constantly drunk and bitching about their husbands/suitcase pimps in that accent that makes me want to rip my ears off.
Usually a ripper asks you if you want a lapdance. If you say no, they move on. This one broad I encountered the other night hit me up three times before I had even had a chance to place my drink order. When she gave up she started sending her comrades over.

The worst stripper I ever dealt with was an older stripper of Irish descent from Queens. My buddy was coming off a divorce and I went with him to this place in the 30s on the east side near where he worked. The place was more of a prostitution thing than a strip club. They served no alcohol. He went off with a thin young blonde and I waited for him. I was there since he asked me to come. This isn't my type of thing. So, I waited quietly, occassionally tipped dancers a dollar and declined all offers to go into the back. This older hefty dyed-blonde hag drifted to me and wouldn't take no for an answer. She snapped her gum angrily at me. I assured her I was not interested. An attractive tall thin hispanic girl came over to me with the same offer, and I declined her as well. But, I was certainly more engaged with her since she was stunning. Plus, she was brushing her bare leg against mine while she was talking. It was summer, I was wearing shorts and her skin was incredibly soft. The older irish hag rushed me immediately after this girl moved on. Lowered her price and demanded my participation. I declined. She demanded I give her a dollar. I declined. In fact I intentionally tipped the stage dancer another dollar just to rile her. She actually started yelling at me, "What like you're some catch! You're a worthless piece of shit like every other asshole in here!," and the like. I was so shocked, I found it funny. I couldn't stop laughing. I found her angry red face hilarious - the low-class Queens accent combined with the gum-snapping just set me off! I tried to walk away, and she followed me yelling as I moved away. I wouldn't look at her and kept my eyes from her dodging up and down, in and out, as she tried to get me to acknowledge her. The bouncer actually restrained her after she started to try to punch me. She was crying as he threw her out. Pretty sad, actually.  I actually felt bad for her. I still do.

Used to go to this place called The Jet Strip near LAX for lunch every Friday when I worked in Hawthorne. The strippers were good looking, but nothing to brag about and the (non-alcoholic) drinks were typically expensive ($4 cokes) but the food was surprisingly good and very inexpensive; $3 for the daily special and served in large portions.
Usually dropped another $20, a dollar at a time, for the dancers and everyone was friendly and low pressure on their sales pitch.
But that was over 15 years ago. I don't think it's around anymore which is too bad, it was a fun place to kick it for lunch.

But has anyone ever had the pleasure of eating fries and gravy during the lunchtime lull, only to have a Hungarian whore sit in your unsuspecting lap and start eating right off your fork? And then the management gave me shit for dumping the whole thing in the garbage can, plate and all.

I think they're a ripoff too- the dancers are brazen now of days. I used to tip ones that turned me on but they all expect a tip these days, no matter how lackluster the dance or broken the girl.

Take as much or as little money as you want. No one will kick you out for not buying dances. Not all guys are into dances, but do bring enough to tip onstage. If you don't plan on buying dances, DO NOT encourage the girls to engage in convo with you. As wonderful and fabulous as you may be, the bottom line is they are there to make money. They didn't initiate convo to take a break or because they are bored as some may tell you. It is part of their sales approach to personalize themselves as a product so you buy dances. Don't lead them on. It's better strip club etiquette to be honest and tell them that you didn't bring enough money and can only afford to tip on stage.
Also, if you sit at the tip rail (yes, you'd better be tipping at the TIP rail), the girls won't ask you for dances since most clubs don't allow the dancers to approach customers at the tip rail as it would be rude to that performer on stage.
