Jeff-
Thanks. I hope it's ok for me to post this, but I wanted to publicly thank you for your phone call last week. It was really appreciated.

John and I have talked a lot this last week about how we never did think that Evil Angel was above the possibility of being prosecuted.
The only difference I can think of was that that we attempted to fly slightly more under the radar than a company like Extreme or Max. I guess this now proves that doesn't matter anymore.

I've had dozens of people tell me that they're sure that it's John's dance number at the AVN Awards show that pissed off the government. The indictment was filed in December 2007, before anyone knew what the theme of John's dance number would be.

I've also had a few people such as yourself who have been through this before tell me how lonely it's going to feel. I'm not discounting that, but if I were to judge from the outpouring of support we've received from industry leaders this last week, it's going to be quite some time before we feel lonely or abandoned. On a personal level, everyone from our parents to our other family members, our close friends, to my daughter's teacher and principal have all told us how sorry they are for us and how indignant they feel that the government believes they can tell people what they can and can't watch in the privacy of their own homes. Some of our friends who've told me that pleasant surprised me - they were people who knew my political believes but who had never uttered a politically-inspired word to me in the past.

John never wanted this to happen, but now that it has, he's willing to do his best to show people how hypocritical and unconstitutional this really is.
