I've known more than a few heroin addicts in my day and some of them were on methadone for years. Not one of them would have used methadone to commit suicide...no doubt in my mind that they would have tried to OD on heroin to get that last hardcore high on the way out. They might have mixed the heroin and methadone but no way they would have tried to die without heroin if they were going to attempt suicide by drug overdose.

Maybe Chico was different but in my experience all junkies are cut from the same cloth.
