I hate tarot, psychics, and any of that nonsense. If they're so clairvoyant and have garnered so much foresight about the world, why are they always living in crappy shanty shack apartments? That's like the time I was a photographer for jm's bukkake and one of the bukkake boys handed me his business card saying he was also a life coach. That said, I had my tarot read once in the east village and the first card turned up was death.
Hey Gia, last thing first; the death card in Tarot represents change (not actual physical Death). The fact that it turned up as the first card indicates a major change. The following cards should have suggested what areas of your life could be affected by that change.
True witches (derivative of the word wiccan) will not ask for payment for a reading or a casting. The act of ‘asking’ for compensation negatively impacts the energy of the event rendering the outcome completely useless.
True witches live solely on the donations, support, and goodwill of their village. Hence the stereotypical “shanty” look that is associated with the craft and perpetrated by Hollywood. Gypsies and charlatans adopted this “image” to lend an air of legitimacy to their storefronts for nothing more than their own immoral gain.
And finally, to address your first statement; for the same reason that ‘asking’ for payment negates the process, using your talents for your own personal gain has the same outcome. It just doesn’t work. For the real practitioners, it is a truly altruistic talent.
You're on your own with the life coach.

Ignorance implies a lack of knowledge which is easily correctable through education.
Stupidity implies an inability to learn.
Therefore; ignorance is temporary, stupidity is forever!
