When it's "daytime", that bright thing in the sky is called the "sun." DO NOT DIRECTLY LOOK AT IT! It's too bright, and will make your eye-bones sore!

However, when it is "nighttime" there might be a somewhat-bright object in the sky. It is called the "moon" and it's perfectly okay to look at.
