Rick Retires

I finally finished moving all the sites and for the most part everything went well. There were couple of days with some issues but things are ok now, took me a whole month to move all the sites over which it ended up making me think about the amount of videos I have made. As some of you might know, I didn't really set out to make adult videos as a business when I started doing this, but rather I wanted to raise funds to pay for the swing parties I was organizing back then and have some fun while at it. I wanted money for the hotels, drinks, etc. And all along I had been telling myself that I was not a "pornographer" since my intentions were different. But looking at the vast amount of stuff I am responsible for (about 1000 scenes), I suppose I am no longer the guy who just wanted money for the hotel expenses, I've stopped kidding myself. This has become a business for all intent and purposes, especially considering the infrastructure I have been putting together. So as a business, my goal is to improve the experience of the viewer so you can expect better things to come soon as there is a lot of stuff in the works. Which leads me to the next point.

I have been having sex in front of the camera for 10 years (started April 1998 actually). And since I have always been careful about my identity, I believed that my life as "Rick" would never cross over to my "civilian" life. But in the past week couple of strange events have happened. Remember I wrote about meeting a girl friend in Florida? well, that girl is a civilian who didn't know about what I did. But after getting back to LA, she wrote me and told me that she was then sure I wasn't telling her everything about myself, that I had a "side business" I forgot to tell her about. As you can imagine, I was perplexed and eventually shocked. I assume she has seen my videos before and she somehow was able to put the two and two together. Not a good thing in my civilian book as being a "porn actor" was never on my list of life goals. Not only that, but last night an old friend whom I last saw like 6-7 years ago, a person in my civilian circle, sent me an email to my Rick account, asking if I was (my real name)!! I had not seen this person in years, I had a different haircut back then. How could it be possible? And as I went to bed, I thought to myself how are these people finding out? how obvious is it? maybe is the fact that I have this vast amount of videos of me floating around the internet. That's 2 people from my regular life in one week, who somehow found me online and put me together with "Rick". Which is not a comfortable thought for me. My "hobby" is for the first time starting to interfere with my real life. So I have been thinking hard about this. I asked myself why am I doing videos in the first place? I no longer throw swing parties anymore so I don't need the party money. I can basically have sex with all the girls off camera and not put myself out there like I do now. I can still interview them and do them like I usually do, is not like I need to be on camera to get laid. So I have come to the conclusion that is time for Mr Rick to retire.. yes Rick is retiring. Not retiring from fucking (that my friends, would never happen) but retiring from being in front of the camera. I think this is the right time to do it... I never imagined the day I would say that.

So with me retiring from being in front of the cameras. My shameless friends will pick up where I left off. I still will do what I normally do but off camera and once the girl gets "approved" by me then I will have her on the site. I'll let my friends do some of the initial interviews as well and bring their own girls too. You will see me in videos that I have not released yet and on some that I might do from time to time. I might be in front of the cameras if the girl wants to be with me only or whenever I feel like it. But as the site goes forward, I will be absent from most of the videos. I will still run the show, write for the site, do the updates, the back end, etc. So nothing much will change in that regard. If anything it will get better as there are some new features coming to the site soon, not only that but you won't hear my ass moaning louder than the girls anymore..lol.

It's been a great 10 years and I really want to thank every person that has ever signed up for my sites, I truly appreciate your support all the emails I have received too. Thank you all very much.

I didn't mean disgusting like wrong. I just meant it as an expression as in amazement. I've always wanted to check out Dubai.

If he is retiring from Ameture cream pie, then what about asian-man.com? I met Rick at AVN this year, he seems like a cool guy and we are the two rare Asian guys in American industry; I was going to call him and work out a some business proposal too...
