Why did ABC play that last weekend? Passover isn't for a month! Wouldn't "Ben Hur" be the more apropos Heston epic for Easter?

I never quite understood it either, but they've played it on every Easter since I was a little kid. I'm not very religious, but I love the movie. It blows my mind that the AFI didn't include it in either one of the top 100 lists.
Easter is the day Christ was Risen after his Last Supper, which was a Seder. However, the Hebrews used a lunar calendar, and the larger culture used a solar calendar, so Easter came to calculated differently. Obviously, the Ten Commandments is not played to cater to a Jewish audience.
