I started my new job today. I’ll make $25 a day picking up four kids from three places in the afternoons.

First stop was the pre-school. This four-year-old girl says to my adopted son, "Why does your dad wear a hair clip?"

I told her to climb up to a precarious spot on the bars and hop up and down on one foot while summing up the entire Torah.

She thought I was hot.

Next stop there’s a basketball hoop. I make soaring leaps from the foul line and climax with thundering dunks.

This will be cool.

Lots of single moms around, Baruch HaShem, to witness my athletic prowess.

On the drive home, the ten year old repeatedly asks for protection from the aggressive four year old.

As they scream and fight, I sing "There’s a hush all over the world."

The kids want the High School Musical CD but I insist that my singing is better.

If I can keep this job for a year, I’ll pay for my new engine.
