Liars set to open for Radiohead's U.S. Tour

If you’re like me, the headline to this story will make your head explode. Liars, perhaps the best band to emerge from the horribly titled dance-punk movement in 2001, the creators of the still awesome 2006 release “Drum’s Not Dead” (and the nearly as great 2007 release “Liars”) are going to be opening for the best band on the planet? No way.
Well, it’s true, as Liars were recently handpicked by Thom Yorke and crew to open up the first leg of their upcoming U.S. tour, starting May 5, in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The second leg of the tour hasn’t been announced yet, and it’s not known if Liars will join Radiohead on those dates. Here’s to hoping.
