I didn't make confirmation. After ccd and communion (which I thought were fun), it all seemed boring. Plus, my dad wasn't too keen on me growing up in the Catholic church like he did in Brooklyn, and my mom thought organized religion was for proles.

Fuck I wish my mom thought that way, she wasted money as far as Im concerned, cause they did nothing special other than have fund raisers every week to get more donations. The public schools in this area are A+, but my mom was a paranoid old lady probably cause I was her "only" child.
