Ness City is a town of under 2,000 people that is typical for small midwestern towns in that most the residents families have known everyone else's families for at least two generations. If you fart in your backyard within 48 hours word has gotten out to everyone in town what it smelled like. I can not understand how someone can squat in a bathroom for two years without somebody else figuring something out of the norm was going on,
