Now i don't mind interracial porn, when a white woman is with a black guy. So don't get my wrong by this post, but i have noticed that once a white female performer who starts out in the biz doing white guys only and then turns to doing some interracial stuff with black guys their career usually takes a tailspin into the gutter after. I mean if i was a white female performer i wouldn't do black guys. A) because most are very disrespectful during the scene and 2) it never helps a career and can only hurt it. My question is why do you think this is?. Does the vast majority of porn get sold in the south, do certain comanies and directors find themselves giving parts to white only performers. It isn't with just fringe porn stars either, im talking contract girls here (alexa rae, dasha, taylor hayes, jewel de nyle). I appluad anyone with the backbone to share their thoughts on this matter. Well, I know that the best fucks I've ever had were from black guys and most girls know that.  (lol) Seriously, I've had this told to me a couple times by guys involved in the business warning me that if I came into the industry to avoid doing interracial scenes. If I ever get over my fear of being the next Jessica Dee I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to not do IR since I like black guys.

Very interesting post, as a pure consumer of porn I was only made aware of the large number of female who won't do IR when I started reading up on certain performers. I often wondered what is that all about.
Is it marketing, strictly preferences, fear, or simply people creating certain niches within the industry? Is it old fashion sterotypes? (all black me secretly want to fuck white women and when they do the women tend to go crazy)
Is there truth to the notion that it kills careers? I don't think we can use Jenna as a gauge because by most if not all standards she has excelled past any old preconceived notion of porn stardom. I think maybe that question can best be answered by some of the porn girls who post reguarly to have an honest discussion of the following points
1) was it ever recommended that you not do IR and if so what was the rationale used. and further more did you challenge that theory or simply take it to heart
2) did you start out not doing IR and now you do, why did you decide to? what were the real reasons you didn't?
3)what was the actual status of your career before you started IR? What was it after you did it? Has it effected the roles you have been offered?
I really think that this can best be answered by those who went through that. the rest is simply and will remain speculation.

The male "talent" pool is not as large as the womens. I think from a directors point of view they can only shoot the meat puppet and "whore" together only so many different times and ways. I like IR porn, got no problem with it at all. I don't think it's a career killer though. What was that blonde whores name who did that Playboy TV call in show?  It didn't hurt her career any. I however would like to see more black females (not sammura) with white guys just don't think there is near enough of that going on.
