Well with regard to Iraq I am inclined to agree with you in hindsight now because I was wrong about that population being able to be civilized- it is clear that they cannot be, Afghanistan however is a different story and most Americans support the efforts there anyway. We were attacked on 9/11 by terrorists given free reign in that country and thus it is within our rights as a country to defend ourselves- by eliminating the Al queda and Taliban. This is a process that may be long and tedious but it will be done and the people of Afganistan will be better off in the long run.
