Eli didn't beat the Pats with his play. He had 2 drives in the 4th quarter or else he didn't move the ball. The Giant D beat the Pats by beating up Brady. And, if Eli could move thru the Packer D, Brady would have failed? An upright Brady would have KILLED the Packers.

PLUS, for all we know Favre could have had a BIG game. He also could have had one of his big int games. Considering how Eli out shined him in his own element, and the fact that Favre's season ended with a bad pick, I vote the later.




Favre was "the girl with the curl". When he was good he was GREAT, when he was bad he was horrid. And, he was often BAD in playoff games. The Packers should have won their Super Bowl against the Broncos. Farve wasn't good that day.

You can't say that about Montana or Bradshaw or Aikman, etc.

Until this year, who did Brady have with him? Who did Elway have? Or Marino?

He'a a good quarterback who never saw a play he couldn't make ... and he make plenty impossible plays. He also wrecked several seasons throwing into triple coverage and getting picked.

He's not the GOD ESPN makes him out to be.
