Last year he gets sole credit for about the first half of the Packer's wins - no running game, a bunch of wide-eyed rookies, and Favre. And he came very, very close to another Superbowl he could easily have won (if Eli can beat the Pat's defense Favre would cruise).
In an age of "possession quarterbacks", where the goal is to not screw it up and a 15-yard in-the-air pass is considered long, I'll miss a Favre who by ability and temperament was a threat on every down to go to any spot on the field. He might win those gambles or he might lose them, but at least it was fun to watch.
