I don't mind that. In theory, NY fans don't like their announcers to be big "homers". I know I don't. They often make exceptions for guys who played for the team, but still they want to hear it warts and all. They often "kill" team-assigned radio announcers for not being hard on the team.


I just hate when the network TV idiots wander off to other topics during MY GAME. I didn't tune into Giants-Redskins to get your take on Brett Favre, and if I'm watching Jets-Dolphins, I don't care about whose going to start for the Colts. The TV guys all drift to the "larger" issues in games they weren't assigned to. And, I just DON'T CARE what Tony Siraguso ate for breakfast. Sorry, I DON'T.

The local guys are only focused on the game and local issues.
