Hey everyone, if any of you still have any strange things you can not do properly since the server upgrade last week send me an e-mail so I can put it on the to-do list. One person wrote me about not being able to send a PM to a particular user, that seemed like an isolated incident, but if there's any others let me know now so I can get it tweaked. I deleted all my xpt cookies and now it's working. This doesn't take into account that malice might have done something. It's Sunday though- I highly doubt he did anything to the forum.

Odd character set issue ... which might just be on my side.
I noticed that the title of a thread changed to odd characters [vérité] ... I think the original name was "Vérité" [which I infer from the context of the post, etc.].

I'm going to start bumping this thread whenever the cookies or whatever they are that mark posts as read within a session fuck up. You can close and relaunch your browser and sometimes that will correct it on the user side, but whenever Malice does something mysterious he calls "compiling the indexes" or somesuch bullshit it corrects it on the xpt side. Screw closing the browser and re-opening it to reset a feature.
XPT Cookies: Fucked
Malice: "Compile those indexes" or whatever it is- it's been broken for a while now.

the same thing happens to me every once in a while. someone suggested clearing cookies, cache, etc. works for me shortly thereafter, running firefox.

Yeah King, I suggested that in this very thread, and it will work briefly. But it should work all the time, with no input from the user.

It's been working for me the past several days. I'm using Safari on a Mac so maybe that has something to do with it?
