Kyeisha Fuller of 81 Saratoga Ave. was arrested around 4 p.m. yesterday after police responded to reports of a fight at her address. Officers found the unidentified man bleeding outside, and Fuller - holding a kitchen knife - coming out of the building.
"The officers ordered the female to drop the knife to the ground and she complied," said Lt. Sean Mullins, Yonkers police.
Investigators determined the argument began when Fuller's roommate and cousin invited the man into the apartment, and Fuller did not want him there. She became violent after the man insulted her appearance, police said.
"The dispute turned physical after the victim called the suspect 'ugly' and she then stabbed the victim with a kitchen knife in the shoulder," Mullins said.
The victim, a Yonkers resident, was treated for the stab wound to his left shoulder at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers.
Fuller is charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor. She was kept overnight in Westchester County jail and scheduled to be arraigned today in Yonkers City Court.
