Um, exactly what significant technology has been developed in the Middle East? They buy a lot of technology with their oil money.

I believe in the 2001 South Korea produced more patents than all the nations of the Middle East had in the previous 40 years. South Korea has a population of less than 50 million. The Middle East has a population greater than 300 million.



I didn't mean they were keeping up in terms of developing technology. I just meant that they have most modern things such as computers, internet, cd's, dvds and such. I was wondering why they have chosen to embrace those things but completely rejected the idea of evolving on a human level.
