I left that school and town with my degree in 1997.....although I have only returned a handful of times I still have fond memories of that place......

It is weird you hear and see the images of these school shootings never thinking one day it may hit home.....Even though I work in a public high school currently.......
but this one was different.....not only was it my school....to see the pictures of students and police and the aftermath happening against the backdrop of places i walked everyday.......let alone to have had 3 classes my freshman year in Cole Hall where the shootings took place....That hurt was not only painful but just a very surreal experience all around.....
