What about the gefilte fish?



She made good gefilte fish. But, my Hungarian grandma in Coney Island made it much, much better.

Grandma Rivka specialized in her herrings. But, it made her apartment stink.

My Hungarian grandma actually won prizes at Coney Island for her potato salad. But, the recipe died with her.
