There have always been rivalries: The Yankees and Red Socks, Democrats and Republicans, Packers and Bears, Mel Gibson and everyone in Hollywoood. But, I was wondering that even in a naughty business like porn, there must be those that don’t get along or just down right despise each other. I was wonder was there any public rivalries or signs of public animosity from those in the industry or is it just one big bunch of smutty solidarity.

It's a competitive industry. Of course there are rivalries between talent, production companies, etc. I think the purpose of your post was to dig up some juicy industry gossip. There are sites dedicated to just that sort of thing. Maybe you should visit those.

Would Mary Carey vs. coherence and Kurt Lockwood vs. heterosexuality count?

Ginger Lynn and Traci Lords reportedly hated one another. I recall reading an article that stated the rivalry got so bad that one of them (Ginger I believe) refused to show up at the New Wave Hooker premier because the other was going to be there.

And judging from some stuff they did in a movie, Christy Canyon and Traci both seemed to be rather un-fond of Stacy Donovan.

Lois Ayres and Keli Richards also had a prett good on that allegedly led to a scene right out of a JM movie.
