Skeeter is telling the folks over at Sin City that he doesn't need lighting guys, p.a.'s, or p.m.'s. He says they are not necessary and an extra cost that they don't need to spend money on. Skeeter's movies are so bad that everyone knows he could actually use all of the help in the world. Hopefully the good folks at Sin City will see the need in having decent production staff and won't let Skeeter turn their movies into bargain basement trash.

Skeeter's sets typically have 4 crew members; himself, a lighting tech, a PA and a Makeup artist.
Anymore people than that on a gonzo set and you're just milking the profit out of a production and tripping over someone's feet.
I've worked on Skeeter's sets for 4 years now. He is a demanding producer/director that expects nothing less than the best from crew and talent.
I think you're just pissed because Skeeter can turn out a quality product at a competitive price and you're losing money because you can't compete.
Welcome to the new world of porn production. When everybody and their brother who has a camera and a computer can make porn, if you can't be competitive, then you will cease to be relevant.

Ask Sin City what Skeeter has been saying. It's a fact. He said that if he shoots for them he can now do his own lighting, hire his own talent and that P.A.'s are not necessary. Skeeter's sets may have consisted of 4 crew members in the past but he is now trying to cut corners and eliminate jobs in an effort to make himself seem more appealing to Sin City

I'm not making judgements about Skeeter one way or another. But if a man can produce a better product cheaper than his competitors, what the fuck is wrong with that?

Yes this is just sour grapes and falsehoods. It's just Jim Powers mad that Skeeter is taking some of his work and upset that he won't be able to skim profits with Scott Justice... oh and Scott Justice himself mad because he is now working for maybe 1/3 of what he was before he got caught "borrowing" from the cookie jar. Regardless, Scott no longer works at his $25k a month job for a reason, and that reason more than likely has to do with his own greed and lack of ethics. And finally, the actual arrested child abuser Johnny Thrust is mad because Skeeter was going off on him on the Internet. Read the stories. Of course they are mad. Skeeters been crazy lately. A nut actually.
In case people didn't know, the days of $30,000 profitable gonzo aren't long for this world. Realistically, if the truth was told by all, the days of profitable $25k production cost gonzo are already past. Even EA directors are saying that costs need to be cut to stay out of the red. The talent aren't reducing their costs unless they are all used up, overshot, and cracked up. Despite what JJ wants people to think, EA is still the team by which everyone else should be benchmarked. When you see them shooting fewer group scenes, everyone is trouble. Anyway, imagine that, a scumbag pornographer cutting costs in this fucked up market so that companies can stay afloat and maintain profitability. Wow, that is really terrible Johnny. Jim is very very good, but everyone knows Skeeter is a great pornographer in his own right and his movies sell consistently well.
Anyway, Skeeter's not a molester. If your crazy wife made up a story about you (with no evidence and no proof) that cost her nothing, but cost you tens of thousands of dollars to defend, as well as your career and reputation, I don't think anyone here would be overjoyed at the prospect of risking her doing that to you again. I mean your razzing dude for a sex crime of a legal adult that happened 20-something years ago, turning it around and saying he raped his kids? I mean the code is written right on his picture that gets posted here every so often. It's clearly the adult charge. It's not even questionable or a maybe. Oh, but I forgot, Bridgette would never lie - even though the courts said she did. Skeeter even got a verbal (court recorded) apology from a family court judge for what happened. You can't make this shit up.

I apologize for giving a shit about the lowest paid but hardest working folks on a porn set. The people who really need the jobs. Why doesn't Skeeter or other directors/producers drop their fees slightly to ensure that jobs won't be lost?

That's exactly what Skeeter has done! If he personally makes more than $2K on a title I'd be surprised. That's for producing, directing, managing, and shooting the title as well as providing all of the equipment (lights, cameras, etc.) and craft services.
After I P.A., support the lighting tech, shoot BTS, and handle all the post production, I make almost as much as Skeeter does from a title.
Sorry, but in this day and age if you can't turn out a completed title for well under $10K, you might as well pack up and go work at MickyDees
