Hey Chico, guess you didn't hear, Lurid Inc. shut its doors at the end of last June.
Stu fell off the wagon after the 2007 AVNs and blew all the investor's money on a 7 month long coke binge. He left CJ in charge (against Aidan's and my protests) and CJ's incompetence was the final nail in the coffin.
Failure to market or promote, failure to collect revenues, failure to go live on the membership website we created for Lurid. It really got to be a joke by the end. We had people calling us wanting to pay us the money they owed and CJ just ignored them!
I think CJ had ulterior motives (nobody's THAT incompetent) and, for whatever reason, did what he did intentionally.
All a moot point, however, since CJ was fired as well about 2 months after he shut us down.

Now Stu, fresh out of rehab this last September, is left holding some 50,000 replicated units of 17 released titles, 8 completed but unreleased titles, and several pending lawsuits.

And you're right about the profit. I've made more in the last few months than Lurid made in it's entire 5 years of existence (which isn't saying much).
