I thank you for remembering that Mr. Sergio. I was reelected back to my post as Mayor again here in our nation’s capitol by my loyal constituents after that FBI fiasco.

Since the reality is that the base of the voters who actually VOTE are senior citizens they do not pay attention to WHO the candidate actually is but only in NAME RECOGNITION...Clinton has much better odds in winning due to stupid voters.

The reference was that they couldn't sign a petition ... not whether they could compose an essay.
They sign away their rights every day ... suffering to suffrage ... they'll sign ...
I may be wrong about this, but I believe in most states you can still "make your mark" with an "X" on a contract, or a petition, if you're illiterate. A vestige of the 19th century nobody ever removed from the books.
Of course these days, the schools are churning out thousands of functional illiterates each year who can do no more than sign their name in a feel-good effort to disguise said illiteracy.
