Minotauro Nogueira (Big Nog) vs. Tim Sylvia for the Heavyweight Title.

Brock Lesnar (UFC Debut) vs. Frank Mir (Former Heavyweight Champ)

We all know Couture isn't coming back so Sylvia vs. Nogueira is for the real title. Also, Tyson Griffin has a match on the undercard along with Jeremy Horn. Should be a good card.

Anyone else watching? Predictions?

UFC is governed by State Athletic Commisions just like boxing. When a fighter fails a test, like Sean Sherk(a champion when he got suspended), he loses his license to fight. No fights = no money. Although, in any given "pro wrestling" show I'd always take the "over". No matter what the odds were.

Big Nog. I can't stand Sylvia, never will. Nog by submission.

Im going with Lesnar. I dont think Mir is coming in totally prepared. Lesnar by GNP.

Horn. Have been a have of Horn for yrs. and good to see him baCk in the UFC.

I also got Big Nog. Sylvia is soooo boring. I know Nog may have to make this fight boring because of Sylvia's size but Nog is the better fighter all around.

I also agree about Lesnar. Everyone thinks Mir will beat him in the first round but I think if anything Lesnar knocks him out in the first round simply because he is a freak!

Horn will win. He's outsized in his fight but he took Couture to the limit in RINGS. Plus Jeremy is a submission expert.

Griffin should win easily. Griffin is nuts.

There are a few other fights on the card but those are the major names. I am really interested in the Nog and Lesnar fights, though. I think Dana White will cry if Nog and Lesnar win. So I'm rooting for both. I always root for chaos!

I hope Nog submits that stupid smug look off Tim. Ever since I heard him say " I hit him haawd" in his fricking accent, I couldnt stand him.

The card looks great. I just heard Shogun will be fighting Liddell in April/May. I want to see Rua fight like he did in Pride and demolish Chuck.

I think Nog will make Tim tap. As for Chuck and Shogun. I don't see Shogun coming in as badly prepared as he was for Forrest Griffin. You could tell Rua didn't prepare too well... and despite his poor preparation Forrest barely submitted him in the final round and did it while covered in blood. I think Shogun will wax Chuck. Chuck is on his last beer-gutted legs.

Personally, I would rather see a Rampage/Henderson rematch than watch Forrest Griffin get pummeled.. but what can ya do?

Nog and Lesnar are my pics. Glad to see Horn back in the Octagon too. This will be worth paying for.

Wahoo for Big Nog making Sylvia tap! He got his ass kicked for nearly the entire fight. He gets Sylvia where he wants him and the fight is over in moments. Thats about what I expected.

Lesnar was indeed an animal. He beat the hell out of Mir, made one mistake and got caught. What was with the ref taking a point away from Brock? Mir moved his head while Brock was punching. At the very least that should have been a warning if anything.

I was disappointed Horn lost but his fights are always entertaining to me. Great show overall.

Nog did as I wanted, he beat Sylvia with a beautiful guillotine choke. Lesnar is going to be unstoppable. Give him another year of solid training and he is going to be a force in the division. I would of loved to see him fight Brad Imes or Heath Herring. Give him props for not taking an easy fight.

Only if lesnar is willing to learn NOT to rely on brute force when technique can get it done too will he be great. Also looking at his physique I have to wonder if he is subject to more muscle pulls and injuries that would slow his career, time will tell though.

Lesnar has been training with Sean Sherk's camp for almost 2 yrs. now. He just needs more experience. Did you see him power out of two armbars? Thats scary.

Lesnar is gonna be champ one day. He just got over exiting and got caught. Remember he was fighting Frank Mir, former champ. This was no squash match. Sergio is right, props to Brock for jumping right in to the fire.
