Aborted? Where did you get that? All feeder rats should be euthanized with CO2 prior to feeding.
Pinkies are newborn rats or mice. Usually only a few days old.
Since they are defenseless they can not harm a pet snake with teeth. As snakes grow they require larger food. Some people still feed live rats to snakes which can cause injury. My comment was to advise to feed only euthanized food to his snakes when it gets larger and requires larger food.
