Generally, I don't think this would trigger any sort of CPS investigation unless the child was being exposed to sexual activity. One example might be bringing the child to a porn set.
However, I could easily see some fathers attempting to make an issue of the mother's work in a high conflict custody dispute under the more general "best interests of the child" standard. Typically, the father will assert they do not want their child raised in that sort of unwholesome environment. Father will try to paint a picture that he has superior values, goes to church and can provide the child with a proper upbringing unlike Mom, the wicked and immoral porn slut. Of course, mediators and judges will often take into account Dad was well aware what Mom did for a living before the child was born. In many cases, that takes a lot of wind out of Dad's sails. Other trappings of being a porn star could affect custody issues as well such as drug and alcohol abuse.
These type of issues also arise in family law court with other sex workers such as erotic dancers.
