There used to be a time when winter was a cunt. A cold, freezing, snow up to your ten year old nipples cunt. In all the hype leading up to global warming we were blessed in Southern Ontario with some of the mildest winters in my life. Winter has officially returned to my neck of the woods, but it's somehow different. It has brought less snow, colder temperatures and lasts a lot longer than it used to. Anything over two inches of snow is now officially regarded as a storm. Schools closed last week because of the possibility of a major snowstorm. Even my fucking bank, which is in a well-plowed mall, was closed due to snow a couple of weeks ago, while the rest of the stores stayed open. I had a helluva time explaining to my auto insurance broker why I was unable to have my payment in on the due date. Pussies. That's what it comes down to. The vaginafication of a society that has forgotten to take care of itself. If you have to wait 24 hrs for the city to clear your street so you can get out of your driveway, I suggest picking up a goddam shovel and making it happen. I'm gonna go block my neighbour's car in with my plow. Partly because I can, but mostly because he's a douche.

My favourite Heenan moment was back in 1986 or 87 during a segment of Saturday Night's Main Event from MSG. Harley Race was doing an interview spot with Heenan which must've been on cue cards, cause if you watch Heenan closely you can see him mouthing the same words Race is speaking.

I most certainly hate Darth and his personal fanboi MetalMan.
Even though Darth might be an insider in god-knows-what, his style of posting awakens a very primitive emotion deep within me. An emotion, which I'd rather avoid, because earlier experiences have taught me that bad things might happen, if I let it run freely.

I hate commercials in general, but the one's that make blacks seem much more intelligent than whites and women seem much more intelligent than men send me into a psychotic rage. If fucking extraterrestrials learned about our culture from our commercials only, they'd think all black women are geniuses and all white men are drooling fools.

You know, he's right. Take a look at any new commercial set in an office - the manager is now *usually* black, and the employees are a glorious rainbow coalition. This may more accurately reflect reality (well, except for the black boss part), but it is jarring to people who have seen thousands of comemrcials where everyone is white and hubby comes home to a piping hot meal with the whole family.
Next time you see a commercial aimed at kids (for example, McDonalds or Burger King) look around. These days there's ALWAYS a disabled kid having a great time. That's just fiction and it reads phony as hell.
Everyone knows crippled kids are miserable outcasts.
Eg. 1 - Doofus dad saved by McDs, bonus points for dad being a wealthy black guy.
Eg 2 - Wake me when the affirmative action starts

This is the result of white guilt. The need to overcompensate for past grievances. The truth is, all we want is a fair shot -- equal opportunities. We don't need to be fed a fantasy where we have all "arrived". We just need to be given equal access and consideration to create our own successes or failures.
Hell, its more than just white guilt. Its a reflection of how isolated our races can be even though we share a common history as Americans. If we took the time to get to know each other as people, we'd soon realize that every "race" has its share of sharp people AND fuckups. So go ahead and put a dumb black guy in the commercial. Just don't do it ALL the time .. see?

White guilt might be one explanation, but there are others. It could be that the advertisers are pandering to the negro community by vastly exaggerating documented levels of negro intelligence. It might also be that advertisers are so afraid of the professional racialists such as Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and their associated organizations that they are so careful not to portray a negro in an inferior light that they go to extreme measures to show the negro as intellectually superior beings, contradicting what we all know to be true.

Am I a racist? No, I don't think so. I am, however, fed up with African-American culture. While many shallow and unintelligent whites assume that African-American culture is indicative of the culture of blacks globally, I realize that African-American culture has developed unique pathologies that are generally not found in other black cultures in the world. I also realize that the ills of the African-American community are largely self-inflicted, but possible thanks to wrong-headed white liberal activists and policy-makers who have enabled the African-American community to deteriorate. White men like me did not created the conditions you see portrayed on "The Wire", which are horrible but no worse than large swaths of every urban center in the USofA.

In fact, it is more than just economic issues that "keep the black man down," it is cultural as well.
For example, you don't see poor asian (Vietnamese, Korean) kids picking on their friends for doing well in school. American Black Culture has developed into a perpetual underclass (with notable exceptions) because of an acceptance of failure as the norm. Other racial and cultural groups are able to rise out of poverty through hard work and community assistance the black folk in the US have not been able to do that. The reasons why are manifold, but they certainly are are largely due to the history of slavery (both actual and practical).

There is no utopian past of African-American culture, however, before the Great Society and the massive welfare state there was a strong and expanding black middle class in America. Historically black urban areas that now resemble post-war Berlin were thriving middle class communities in the 50s. Harlem and East St. Louis are excellent examples.
Yes, African-Americans have made contributions and met with success in athletics and music, yet one need only to look no further than the NBA and hip-hop to understand that the ills that permeate the general African-American culture have found their way into the professional sports and music industries. Also, I wouldn't actually say that dunking a basketball is an intellectual achievement. Yes, it would be a shame to have never had the music that blacks have created in this country, but would a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis show that blacks have contributed more to this country (not just financially) than they have cost this country?

Obviously there are a lot of different sides to this issue. it's not just black v. white. The point I was trying to make is, that even though the black community has disproportionately suffered as a result of discrimination.... most whites today wouldn't say they've benefited from it. The point being, there really is no up side. By no means am I offering an excuse for any perceived "inferiority". I wouldn't use that word for the simple reason that I'm not sure what it means in this context. No one questions that the black community suffers from disproportionately high crime, poverty, lower rates of college graduation, and lower levels of home and business ownership. But I wouldn't categorize that as "inferiority"... merely the social ills of an underclass. And you're right, most other minority or immigrant groups in America have been able to rise higher in a shorter period of time... but as you said, they also don't have the unique history of once being bought and sold as property.

Well thank goodness we don't apply a cost-benefit analysis to every demographic in America to determine its value to society. We don't live in a fascist state... yet. Although no one seemed to think blacks were much of a drain on the economy when cotton was king.
And I wouldn't call dunking a basketball much of an intellectual achievement either. Maybe during that century or two that it was illegal to teach blacks to read, or the following century when blacks were denied entrance into white schools, they could've been scoring a few intellectual achievements. Who knows.

I think the hate is really there, but, for some reason, people are still holding back a bit. Guarding ammo, so to say. But you'll have to admit there's a lot more going on than a few weeks ago.
