This doesn't surprise me in the least. I've traversed the length and width of I-80 from Oakland to it's furthest east, and I can tell you that the PA portions are my least favorite hands down. I'd rather be in the desert stretches in Nevada and Utah.

BTW: You know in the Road Runner cartoons when you go from one state to another and the ground changes colors? Drive along I-80 from Nevada to Utah and the same thing happens, as the desert changes from regular desert to salt desert. Cool shit.
