Did you know that the equator as we know it is in fact a lie. The equator is a hoax foisted upon the American public by the omnipresent and powerful desktop globe manufacturers lobby that needed an excuse to hide their method of joining the northern and southern hemispheres together during their production process for fear of being perceived as foolish ne'er-do-wells. Don't let this shake the very foundation on which every thing you believe stands, but there is no EQUATOR.
