I think those motorized walkways provide the best chance to hit a kid and get away with it. There is always at least one little rugrat running the wrong way on the walkway so it would be easy to brain one accidentally with your carry on luggage for fun.

Your kid, a particular kid, or will just any kid do? If it's the latter you can always find one running while not watching where he is going. It's an easy shot with the luggage and the kid's parents will scream at the kid for not watching where he was going and apologize to you.

I don't really have the "stomach" for hitting children, though I have intentionally tripped one or two "by accident".
I can tell you that the best way of dealing with obnoxious commuters at the Port Authority Bus Terminal is to quickly but gently tap their right heel with the outside of your left foot while they're "speed" walking so that it upsets their "gate" and catches on their left leg.
They trip ever so ungracefully.
I learned to do this in Junior High, and it's just such a marvelous aggression release when well executed.
The only issue is that you can/will take out a couple of "innocent bystanders" who are walking near the guy when he abruptly spills to the floor during a crowded rush hour.

this is absolutely hilarious to picture-the fatman tripping kids on purpose in public. like, as a parent, your attention and eyes are diverted to something other than your child for a few seconds only to be disrupted by your kid bleeding and crying and a very large bearded man shuffling away from the scene of the crime. by the time your hysterical child can say anything, the fatman has darted onto a subway car, never to be seen again Quote:

Agreed, beat the shit out of em. Only in todays world do all children have ADD or ADHD, we never heard of that shit years ago, a good beaten and then your child is at your command. And lots of kids who got beat turn out to be well individuals. Not beat with a 2x4 but a slap here and there and a hair pull here and there.
