The average fanboy would have to be really deluded to consider sexual interaction with his targeet of choice a possibility; naive at best, given all the illnesses circulating in the industry.
It might be some less interesting form of escapism.
Not only regarding pornography, as popular music comes to mind.
There are more posters of Christina Aguilera than she has had boyfriends, I guess, since that seems to be the goal of marketing.
An alleged popular musician is interchangeable with an alleged star in pornography, provided the fanboys´ admitting that the sexual activities depicted are not as intimate or sacred as what their parents do - or do to them, who knows.
