My great-great grandfather was named Patrick Whelan. He was born in County Waterford in 1835, and emigrated in 1850, settling in Brooklyn. I got a copy of his Emigrant Savings Bank record from ancestry.com, meaning I can conduct identity theft 150 years in the past.

Kind of like Harvey Corman being "Hedy Lamarr" in Blazing Saddles.
